  • On Friday, 25th January 2019, The Archbishop’s Minor Seminary celebrated its Patron Saint’s Day. This year’s theme being ‘Be God’s Microphone’, which is a reflection made by Saint Oscar Romero.

Archbishop Charles SJ. cicluna initiated this special day by first meeting the students from Years 9, 10 and 11. The discussion focused on empowering youths to encourage and build each other up. The same topic was then discussed with the younger students of Years 7 and 8.

This was followed by another celebration, this time by the primary section of the school. Students and staff members discussed how belonging to this community also means being careful in the way we speak to each other, be it among friends or adults. The day’s programme was brought to an end by a final meeting in which all the staff members had the opportunity to discuss current issues with the Archbishop. He strongly encouraged staff members of their important responsibility to strengthen their faith in order to be able to share it with students.
